The Miracle, The Scar,
and My Mission
For me, one instant changed the trajectory of my life forever. It wasn’t just a health scare; it was a ruptured brain aneurysm. I was given incredibly low odds of survival—the kind of numbers that make you hold your breath.
But by the grace of God, here I stand today!

That moment left a physical mark—a scar that tells a story of a battle won. When I look in the mirror, I see a glorious battle wound that reminds me of the blessed life I have been granted.

My Heroes: The Frontline Warriors
I truly believe God placed earthly angels in my path to see me through. Nurses are my absolute heroes. During my most vulnerable moments, when the odds were stacked against me, they were the frontline warriors.
They provided the medical expertise to keep me alive and the tireless compassion to keep me hopeful. Their dedication was nothing short of miraculous, and I am eternally grateful for the nurses who helped me find my way back to the light.

My "Big Give Back":
From Survivor to Mentor
I didn’t just survive against all odds to sit still. This experience gave me a newfound appreciation for the beauty and fragility of life. It’s not the life I envisioned before, but it’s a life filled with purpose and a deeper understanding of what truly matters.
This is why I do what I do: I feel a sacred calling to pay it forward. I’ve transitioned from a survivor to a Proud Stroke Mentor because I know what it’s like to be at the bottom of that mountain. I’ve created a space where your resilience is celebrated and your journey is supported by someone who has been there.
